Longing Poem

I would give up

My small wine cup of joy.

 I would forsake

 This world of delusionary happiness,

 Only to be one

 With the starry infinite expanse

 Which competes with Time,

In its indestructibility

 And Abstractness

I would be nearer the Maker,

My soul says so,

Please, O Nothingness!

Spare me this

Godless confinement on Earth

 And make me

 One with you.
