Remember by Rossetti is an exemplary Victorian sonnet written in 1849 and distributed in 1862 in her first volume, 'Troll Market and Other Sonnets'. It is a Petrarchan work with abba cdc rhyming example and is tied in with recollecting and grieving.
The speaker of the sonnet, evidently Rossetti herself, envisions the time after her own demise and addresses her loved one and attempts to persuade to recollect a large number of her passing which will isolate them.
